Jack the Ripper

In the autumn of 1888, in the Whitechapel district of London's East End, an unknown killer murdered and mutilated at least five women and was never caught. The press named him Jack the Ripper after a letter signed with that name, and the mix of brutal crime, foggy slum streets and total mystery created the first media sensation of its kind.
More than a century of theories has produced suspects but no answer, and the Ripper has passed out of history and into something like folklore, the faceless killer in the gaslit fog. The Miskatonic Sessions, Volume II sets him swinging as 'Uncle Jack'.
